Join us for a session covering some of the most pressing questions that arise in relation to AI regarding the Rule of Law and Human Rights.

This webinar will be split in two parts. The first will reflect on the implications of AI for the rule of law and human rights. Special consideration will be given to the impact of mathematical models on these areas of law, and the effects of human interaction with AI in legal decisions. The second part will be centred around a case study that focuses on the impact of the State in the role of AI and how AI’s positive/negative impacts depend highly on those with the power to control AI.

Learning outcomes:

  • Learn how AI interacts with the rule of law and the ways in which they impact one another
  • Highlight some of the key considerations for human rights that are raised when considering the incorporation of AI into the law
  • Gain insight into potential limitations AI incorporation may need given human rights requirements of the rule of law
