4 hours verifiable CPD

This is the first of four free half-day conferences developed specifically for smaller firm solicitors, providing our members who live and work outwith the central belt with tailored in-person training and networking opportunities.

Attendees will receive four hours of certified Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as the conference covers topics including:

  • Anti-money laundering compliance
  • Account rules and financial compliance
  • Cyber security
  • Legal innovation and technology

The training sessions will be followed by a roundtable discussion and a networking lunch, where attendees can identify key takeaways from the day, explore opportunities and challenges facing smaller firms in their area, and share ideas on how the Law Society of Scotland can continue to support this important part of the Scottish legal sector.

Our roadshows have been developed based on the feedback provided to us in our smaller firms survey conducted last year. These events are part of the support plan we are pursuing in light of that research to bolster you and your work.

Whether you are looking to stay informed, manage risk, embrace innovation or strengthen local connections, these events offer a valuable opportunity to learn, engage and grow.
