1 hour verifiable CPD

In an area of law where legislation is continually evolving, there is an increased onus on employers to ensure they are doing the right thing for their employees when it comes to their protected characteristics.

This webinar, worth 1 hour of verifiable CPD, will look at recent examples of cases where protected characteristics and/or belief systems are tested in real-life situations. Our speakers, Ciaran Milarvie and Stephen Connolly from Blackadders will bring you up-to-speed on this area of law as well as providing key tips on how you can ensure a just outcome in a sensitive situation.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the importance of protected characteristics
  • Learn about what happens when there is a clash of these rights
  • Gain an understanding of previous cases and how you can ensure you are legislation-compliant
