Clients choose lawyers for their expertise, but they stay with those they trust.

In today’s competitive legal market, technical ability and experience are essential, but they’re not enough on their own. The most successful lawyers are those who forge authentic, lasting relationships with their clients — understanding not just the legal issues, but the people and business drivers behind them.

This interactive online workshop over two half-days will help you develop the interpersonal and communication skills that turn good client relationships into great ones. Drawing on proven techniques from professional coaching, you’ll learn how to engage clients more deeply, uncover their real goals and motivations, and position yourself as a trusted adviser who adds lasting value.

By attending, you learn how to:

  • Use coaching-style conversation techniques to strengthen your client interactions

  • Apply purposeful listening and observation to understand clients’ true perspectives and commercial priorities

  • Ask insightful, high-quality questions that help clients clarify their thinking and decisions

  • Identify underlying personal or business motivations that drive client behaviour

  • Build rapport and trust that foster long-term loyalty and repeat instructions

  • Leverage your deeper understanding to deliver advice that resonates and strengthens your client relationships

This is an interactive, practical virtual workshop, combining short theory sessions with conversation exercises and peer feedback. You will also receive access to Quiver Management’s Online Academy where you will be able to revisit all the models and techniques shared during the workshop.

All the above tools and techniques are suitable for practitioners working in private practice and in-house.
