1 hour verifiable CPD l Please note: This webinar fulfils the 1-hour of annual Risk Management CPD required by all Scottish solicitors

It has been almost six months since the criminal offence of Failure to Prevent Fraud came into effect. Organisations which do not put in place reasonable procedures to prevent fraud currently run the risk of a financial penalty and reputational damage. This webinar focuses on the risks and best practices for organisations in the property sector.

Whether you work with property as an in-house lawyer or as a practitioner advising commercial clients, this webinar will help you to identify the risks of common practices in this sector and to build a better strategy to prevent fraud.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop your knowledge of the Failure to Prevent Fraud
  • Learn to mitigate the inherent risks of common property arrangements
  • Gain confidence in advising your property clients on proactive fraud prevention
