Whether it is contract creation, invoices, or client meetings every office has set procedures built into their systems that can easily be overlooked when assessing for risk. This webinar will highlight how risk often results from an amalgamation of small failures in these long-trusted systems rather than one large miss-step.

Brian Wong, Partner, and Lloyd Nail, Senior Associate, both from Burges Salmon, will use real case studies to showcase how one assesses for risk in organisational procedures. With consideration to data procurement, methods of assessment and mitigation design they will provide a step-by-step process through which your organisation can assess for and mitigate risk in your complex systems. Time will also be allocated for questions and discussion with the speakers.

Learning outcomes:

  • Learn why organisations must (re)assess for risk in their commonly used procedures to prevent major breakdowns
  • Scrutinise the source, completeness and integrity of data used for identifying risks
  • Identify practical steps for assessing holistic systems and incorporating mitigations to prevent real harm
