This one-hour webinar explores the new Finance Act 2025 and what it means for succession planning for clients.

The Act creates a plethora of new rules around the determination of residency and taxation. Our speakers will analyse and answer key questions such as: What do the new rules around taxation and determination of residency mean for non-UK assets in wills? Conversely, what do these updates mean for clients who live outside the UK but have assets in the UK? What should clients do to protect their overseas assets and limit taxation in their wills? You will learn the timeline for implementation, pertinent advice for clients, and have time for questions and discussion with the speaker.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discover the new sections of the Finance Act 2025 that will impact asset planning for clients
  • Learn about the new parameters which determine residency and ultimately taxation
  • Analyse the new taxation provisions that impact assets and residents both in and out of the UK
