1 hour verifiable CPD | Please note: This webinar fulfils the 1-hour of annual Risk Management CPD required by all Scottish solicitors

Confidentiality agreements have been subject to much scrutiny in recent years. In some cases, they have been used to conceal unethical and illegal behaviour. The Law Society of Scotland has recently published new guidance on the use of NDAs, and this webinar will see two practitioners discussing responsible NDA use in commercial and employment relationships.

We will also consider the wider sea of change influencing NDA use, including the provisions within the Employment Rights Bill. This webinar will fulfil the annual one hour of Risk Management CPD required by all Scottish solicitors.

Learning outcomes:

  • Develop your knowledge of real-life scenarios where NDAs have been misused.
  • Understand your responsibilities in drafting NDAs and advising clients on their use.
  • Gain confidence in exercising your professional judgment and acting with integrity.
