The programme will also have specialist feedback from Law Society solicitors and others.

Amber develops, organizes, and chairs the TCPD training modules. She makes sure that everything is working behind the scenes and also helps trainees with any queries they have. She is part of the CPD Projects team, and comes from an academic background with experience developing and teaching university level courses.
Ally is a former law firm partner and is now a non-practising Scottish lawyer who has worked in tech and online projects since 2005. He is the Senior Tutor of the "Introduction to the Legal Innovation and Technology" course on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. He is a former member of the Law Society of Scotland's Technology Law and Practice Committee. Ally is the founder of Hey Legal, which provides learning and insight for lawyers, and is a member of the Lawscot Tech community. He leads a session in TCPD Module 1 on Legal Technology.
Laura is a regulatory lawyer, a criminal solicitor advocate and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Data Protection Law. She wrote the Guide to the GDPR for the Society and works across all sectors helping organisations comply with data protection laws. She also assists clients in relation to contentious mattes when the regulator gets involved or compensation claims arise. Laura also advises on cyber security issues. Laura leads the session on data protection for TCPD Module 1.
Mandy co-founded Talem Law, a virtual boutique law firm in 2017. She practices in Employment Law and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). Mandy’s 20 plus year career encompasses working in both private practice for magic circle and international law firms as well as in-house roles at blue-chip organisations. Mandy co-founded Talem Law in order to work around her own child who has SEND. Due to her personal experiences, she has a particular interest in disability in both the classroom and the workplace. In the recent past, she has spoken to the media on topics including autism, SEND, disability discrimination and reasonable adjustments. She has previously delivered training on behalf of a MBL Seminars, a leading trainer in learning and development for professional services firms. She serves as a governor on the Board of Governors for a special school in Essex for pupils with severe and complex needs and autistic pupils. Mandy co-leads a session on EDI for TCPD Module 1.
Sean is a barrister at Talem Law, a firm that focuses on the practice areas of special educational and employment law. The firm has specialities in disability issues in the classroom and during employment. He gained first-hand experience of SEN gained from supporting his children who are disabled. Some years ago, and being exasperated by the lack of provision available at the time, was one of a small team of people who set up a successful ASD specific independent school in order to give his children the education they needed. In addition to his work in the field of SEN, he has extensive experience of a large number of employment tribunal matters, particularly with disability discrimination claims, unfair dismissal and TUPE. He has also represented detained patients in the Mental Health Tribunal and professionals in regulatory proceedings. Sean co-leads a session on EDI for TCPD Module 1.
Ryan is an Associate in the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy(ICE) Disputes team. He is dual qualified in Scots and English law. Ryan acts for contractor and developer clients across multiple dispute resolution procedures including high value court actions, arbitrations, adjudications, expert determinations and mediations, in addition to providing advice on dispute avoidance. Prior to specialising in ICE Disputes, Ryan trained at a large Scottish firm, gaining significant general litigation experience representing clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland. He has previously been on secondment to the legal team at a large UK contractor.
Ryan leads a session on what makes an effective trainee solicitor for TCPD Module 1.
Isobel studied her LLB at Edinburgh University before taking time to intern at the United Nations Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals in Tanzania. She then completed an LLM in International Public Law at Edinburgh University. She has also spent time working for Companies House Prosecution and Company Incorporation teams. Isobel works to research CPD content such as seminars and conferences, and helps facilitate the ethics debate in TCPD Module 2.
Born in Dundee, Hazel attended Dundee College way back in the mists of time. Since then she has worked as an actor in lots of different areas. She was a founder member of Secret Theatre; a group that integrated young people with special needs, bringing performances to Dundee Rep and The Edinburgh Fringe. She enjoys reading, particularly history and spending time with her two dogs. Hazel joins TCPD Module 3 as one of the clients trainees will need to interview.
Born in Edinburgh Paul Murray has been an actor since 1989. He has worked for various theatre companies including the Royal Lyceum and the Traverse theatre. During his career he has enjoyed working in training and Roleplay work with various companies including NHS, Dental, Strathclyde university, WS Society. Paul joins TCPD Module 3 as one of the clients trainees will need to interview.
