Applying your digital signature

We've produced a step-by-step guide which explains how to apply your QES. Please note that in order to use your digital signature

  • your card reader and root certificates need to be installed and your Smartcard inserted in the reader
  • you need a valid practising certificate (without it, you will not be able to digitally sign any documents)

If you have not renewed your practising certificate by 31 October, your digital signature will be revoked.
