Each year, we hold a week long summer school, at which students who are interested in studying law and at the early stages of their legal studies, can meet and ask questions on legal careers. Pupils will also hear about the route to qualifying as a solicitor in Scotland and university entry requirements.
For 2026, we will be running the summer school again but will confirm dates in due course. You can register interest by emailing [email protected].
This programme is available for S4-S6 and college pupils who are interested in learning more about law in Scotland. We also welcome attendance from LLB students.
Reflections from a new generation: Summer school 2025
From Lawfluencer's and court room dramas to candid reflections on life as a solicitor, our Outreach Development Officer Georgia Turnbull reflects on 2025's summer school and the key ideas pupils took away from the week long programme.
Virtual Summer School 2025
Each year, we hold a week long summer school programme where students who are interested in studying law can take part and ask questions about legal careers. Students will hear about the route to qualifying as a solicitor in Scotland, hear from qualified solicitors and take part in a legal skills challenge.
Support for school pupils
