The Scottish Government has issued a consultation on the development of the Rules of Procedure and other provisions that will be required to set up a new Chamber in the Scottish Tribunals to hear appeals for devolved assistances when they begin to be delivered by the new Scottish social security agency.

The Ministry of Justice are holding a consultation on proposals to increase the fees currently charged in the First-tier Tribunal and the introduction of fees for permission to appeal applications and for appeals heard in the Upper Tribunal.  Alongside the fee increases the consultation also seeks views on a possible extension to the current system of fee exemptions.
